STEP: Case Manager (Eligibility Application)

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, social services, human services or a related field.
• Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience providing case management to children and families in an urban environment.
• All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of:

• the principles, practices and techniques of case management.
• the practices and techniques of providing students and families with optimal customer service.
• school-based programs.

Ability to:

• promote and identify resources available for the students and families.
• participate as an active member of STEP.
• ensure case records meet documentation standards.
• analyze problems and data with discretion.
• maintain effective working relationships with students and families.
• communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• establish and maintain effective working relationships.
