Department: Office of Employee Relations
Reports To: Deputy of Employee Relations
Salary Range: This is a full-time position, non-represented position. The salary grade for this position is 4020, which ranges from 39,109 to 58,662.
Job Summary
Acts as a liaison between an administrator and other offices. Participates in the formulation and organization of office procedures. Performs secretarial assignments of a confidential nature. May plan, assign and review the work of secretarial personnel engaged in the office management of an administrative office.
Essential Functions

Answers or refers inquiries and gives out approved information over the telephone or in person; interprets departmental or school policies when necessary; maintains an administrator’s or principal’s calendar and arranges appointments.

Updates materials which may be of a confidential nature; organizes and maintains files and records; screens and routes office mail.

Orients and trains secretarial personnel in office practices and procedures.

Prepares reports of a statistical nature; formulates, organizes and edits material originated in the office.

Processes payroll in a timely manner; reviews, verifies, and posts information to the payroll system.

Assists in the preparation of budget requests and requisitions; participates in the formulation and organization of office and clerical practices and procedures.

Acts as a liaison between administrators or principal and secretarial staff.
Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Four years of full-time, paid secretarial experience which has included maintaining confidential records and using a personal computer to prepare correspondence.

Demonstrated knowledge of:
