Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from at an accredited college or university.
• Four years of full-time, paid, professional or technical support experience in the implementation of database management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of:
o the principles and practices involved in database design.
o software applications used to maintain databases.
o relational databases and database capabilities.
o the administrative processes used in the coordination and implementation of programmatic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to:
o design, develop, and implement efficient databases.
o serve as a resource person on issues relating to District student placement initiatives.
o organize and conduct effective staff development sessions and to prepare and disseminate informational materials to schools and communities.
o review statistical information and make recommendations based on analysis. o Interpret and present data relevant to the student placement program effectively, orally and in writing.
o establish and maintain effective working relationships.
