Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of full-time, paid, professional educational experience, one year of which has included serving in an educational/administrative capacity and has involved the use of personal computer and software applications such as databases and spreadsheets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of:
○ the principles and practices of the administration of educational programs.
○ short-range and long-range planning processes and techniques.
○ current educational trends and techniques which pertain to effective schools.
○ the current uses and capabilities of personal computers and their software applications, including spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools.
Ability to:
○ read and understand architectural and engineering plans, drawings, and documents.
○ analyze procedural problems and make recommendations for change.
○ set priorities, coordinate multiple activities and meet critical deadlines.
○ develop the Long-Range Facilities Master Plan.
○ independently read, review, and comment on design documents produced by architects and engineers.
○ use the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Plan-Con process.
○ communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
○ establish and maintain effective working relationships.
