Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of full-time, paid, professional experience in teaching Mathematics
- All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of:
- PA Core State Standards, including the instructional shifts and their implications for instruction.
- the principles and methods of education.
- research related to the field of education.
- the principles of adult learning.
- best practices for coaching teachers and school leaders.
Demonstrated ability to:
- observe lessons and give effective feedback based on the Danielson Framework for Teaching.
- develop and facilitate professional learning for school staff that is based on the tenets of impactful adult learning.
- communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- establish and maintain effective working relationships.
