Job Summary

This is health care work for Employee Health Services providing specific health care services. Assists professional health personnel in performing various tests.

Essential Functions

·   Assists professional health personnel in performing physical tests.

·   Welcomes and directs Employee Health Services’ visitors.

·   Assures that examination rooms are orderly

·   Prepares employees for examination; measures height, weight, pulse and blood pressure.

·   Prepares necessary reports

·   Performs a variety of administrative tasks necessary for Employee Health Services’ operation.

·   Performs related work as required

Minimum Requirements

·  High school diploma or equivalent.

·   Medical Assistant Certification. 

·   AlcoPro Certified Urine Specimen Collector within ninety days of appointment and during tenure of appointment.

·   AlcoPro Certified Breath Alcohol Technician within ninety days of appointment and during tenure of appointment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of:

  • basic principles of health and hygiene.
  • basic first aid.
  • spreadsheet software applications.

Ability to:

  • communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • establish and maintain effective working relationships.
