Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of full-time, paid, professional, experience in Human Resources or Budget and Management which have involved communicating and building relationships effectively with principals and administrators and completing time sensitive activities.

 

             OR

 

  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.
  • All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge of:
    • the principles and practices of educational administration including budgeting and the alignment of budgets and personnel with school plans.
    • personnel allocations.
    • training principles, methods and techniques.
    • the current uses and capabilities of personal computers and their software applications.

 

  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • plan, organize and conduct training for principals on the alignment of budgets and personnel with school plans and the creative and prudent use of budgeted dollars.
    • gather and analyze information skillfully.
    • identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
    • apply great organizational methods to handle multiple complex projects through to completion.
    • exhibit high level of confidentiality.
    • analyze and resolve complex problems.
    • use/learn software applications such as Advantageâ and the Staffing Management System (SMS).
    • work until tasks are completed during peak seasons.
    • use a personal computer.
    • communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • establish and maintain effective working relationships.
