The salary grade for this role is 4024.  The salary range is $53,834-$84,485.

Job Summary

Oversees a group of after school enrichment sites at select School District of Philadelphia schools. Plans and implements new and innovative approaches for program operations through programmatic systems, relationship building and systems of support. Ensures all programmatic activities are implemented with fidelity and that the programs are in compliance with School District policies and procedures and grant stipulations or Act 89 and Title I and II guidelines.

Essential Functions

Schools Specialty

  • Provides guidance to assigned after school enrichment sites in the development of specific and coordinated work plans; ensures that activities are executed in accordance with established timelines.
  • Responds to inquiries received from within the District and from external after school enrichment vendors; coordinates research activities in response to inquiries received or in an attempt to resolve problems; reviews information and/or data collected.
  • Plans and coordinates activities as directed by the Chief Schools Officer to ensure the attainment of required outcomes.
  • Reviews and monitors the status of projects.
  • Serves as a resource to other District offices and schools.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of full-time, paid professional experience in the public or private sector which has included serving in a resource capacity.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the:
    • administrative and budgetary practices and procedures.
    • the current methods, processes and techniques utilized in the implementation of program initiatives.
    • the methods used to develop contracts and manage external resources.

 

  • Ability to:
  • assess the effectiveness of programmatic activities and to make recommendations for modifications as needed.
  • conduct research and analyze data.
  • maintain records and prepare reports.
  • develop and facilitate presentations.
  • use a personal computer.
  • communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • establish and maintain effective working relationships.
