  • Two years of full-time, paid, professional which has included coordinating programs,  working with academic supports in urban schools and managing external community based resources.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  

Demonstrated knowledge of

  • the principles and current practices in the press management of multiple entities. o the methods and techniques utilized in news dissemination and identifying  positive and negative news. 
  • organizing press events, adhering to timelines and teamwork. 
  • the principles of research. 
  • the structure for briefing memos. 

Demonstrated ability to

  • present ideas to others internal and .external to the School District. o write and edit event briefings efficiently for annual and standing events. o use a personal computer for word processing and data management. o train others on news dissemination and identifying positive and negative news. o communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 
  • establish and maintain effective relationships.
