Minimum Requirements
· Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
· Five years of full-time, paid, professional experience in education, one of which have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity and have included responsibility for planning, developing and implementing professional development programs for instructional staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Demonstrated knowledge of:
- the principles, practices and methods that include instruction in the Common Core State Standards and the Instructional Shifts.
- the principles and theories associated with effective instruction techniques.
- the theories and principles of child growth and development.
o effective adult learning strategies.
o coaching process and strategies within implementing goals/action steps for teachers
· Demonstrated ability to:
- design, coordinate, monitor and implement professional development sessions.
- design and facilitate professional development that is engaging and appropriate for adults.
- conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to support coaches as they support teachers.
- work with computers, computer software and database applications.
- communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- establish and maintain effective working relationships

Certificates/Licenses
· Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Administrative certificate for K-12 or Elementary and Secondary Principal

· Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility.
