Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of full-time, paid, professional experience in teaching
- All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of:
- PA Core State Standards, including the instructional shifts and their implications for instruction
- effective lesson and unit planning
- the principles, and methods of education
- research related to the field of education
- the principles of adult learning
- best practices for coaching teachers and school leaders
Demonstrated ability to:
- provide feedback on teaching practice in alignment with Danielson Framework for Teaching
- develop and facilitate professional learning for school staff that is based on the tenets of impactful adult learning
- communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- establish and maintain effective working relationships

This is a 10-month, PFT-represented position. The salary grade for this role is 0202.

The selection process for this roles consists of a performance task and in-person interview. Only candidates who successfully pass the performance task will be invited to interview.
The selected candidate must have no pending disciplinary action or anecdotal record on file and have not been subject to any disciplinary action within the past eighteen (18) months. In addition, the candidate must have an excellent record of attendance and punctuality during the last three (3) years (defined as no more than eighteen (18) occasions of lateness or absence for personal illness within this period of time with the exception of one extended long-term absence)
