Minimum Requirements
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, behavioral health , or another comparable Master’s degree
• Ten years of full-time, paid, educational experience, at least five of which have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
Knowedge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of:
○ evidenced based prevention and intervention initiatives, including, but not limited to, early warning indicators, behavioral health screening, SAP, MTSS, suicide prevention, drug and alcohol prevention, psycho-social needs of students, and trauma awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to:
○ provide leadership in student prevention and intervention services.
○ coordinate, facilitate and work with various internal departments and external educational partner agencies to channel resources, ideas and recommendations for problem resolution and system creation.
○ coordinate and oversee the work of staff and attain effective results. ○ evaluate data and prepare cogent recommendations.
• Ability to:
○ communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
○ manage complex processes and supervise staff.
○ establish and maintain effective working relationships.
