Transportation Supervisor II
Minimum Requirements:
• Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth school grade.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of:
o the principles and practices required for the efficient routing of automotive vehicles.
o the methods and techniques used in scheduling, planning administrative procedures, and maintaining efficient records.
o the norms, routines, and functions which govern the operation of a large transportation services.
Demonstrated ability to:
o plan and direct a large number of transportation routes for both personnel and cargo.
o analyze and evaluate routing patterns for efficiency of operation.
o supervise divers and paraprofessional personnel.
o utilize two-way radio and state-of-the-art communications and electronic equipment.
o establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, associates and subordinate staff.
