Senior Manager, Digital Content Producer
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, digital media or a related field.
• Five years of full-time, paid, professional experience planning and developing multimedia content including video and audio stories and story packages for a variety of audiences and has involved media creation for social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, including basic multimedia editing experience.
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of:
o the principles, practices and methods used in multimedia content strategy and story
development.
o the principles, practices and procedures used to record and produce digital and multimedia content.
o the procedures used for media creation for social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, et cetera.
о industry trends and related technologies.
• Demonstrated skill in:
o critical thinking with an eye for process improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to:
о create compelling digital and multimedia content.
о be a self-starter, highly motivated and capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a team-oriented environment.
о translate complex topics into digestible, engaging content. package and deliver content across multiple channels.
о meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively. provide consulting and coaching on multimedia projects. show close attention to detail.
о communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. establish and maintain effective working relationships.
