Partnerships Coordinator
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Three years of full-time, paid, professional experience in an education or community-based agency and/or school setting, which has involved working with schools, community-based provider organizations, or corporate volunteers.
- All work experience related to the position must be included on the resume.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- The principles, practices and philosophy of public school administration and management.
- The importance of partnership programs for students and schools; and typical issues that arise when external organizations operate at a school including how to manage and solve those issues on behalf of schools and partners.
- Networking and creating connections between various partners and stakeholders.
- Administrative and business management principles and practices.
- The principles and techniques of organizational planning, development and analysis.
- The various functions commonly found in a school district office, including comprehensive guiding rules and regulations as well as a strong understanding of school-based programming throughout the District.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of multiple functional areas.
- Review documents with keen attention to detail.
- Navigate, or be trained to use, graphic design software such as Canva and WordPress.
- Plan new or revise existing Office of Strategic Partnerships programs in response to the changing needs and priorities of the District.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
