Investigator Analyst, Office of the Inspector General
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
- One year of full-time, paid, professional experience in either investigation, security, law enforcement, criminal justice and/or auditing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- the current uses and capabilities of personal computers, databases and their software applications, including Word and Excel.
- effective communications techniques and procedures.
- effective interviewing techniques.

- Demonstrated ability to:
- analyze, assess and draw conclusions based on a multitude of complex documents and data, including but not limited to policies, procedures and financial documents.
- write succinct and organized reports.
- exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters.
- interact and collaborate with others effectively.
- organize tasks and assignments, manage time efficiently, meet deadlines and multitask.
- interpret District policies and guidelines to District personnel.
- learn routine auditing practices and procedures.
- learn investigative principles and concepts.
- communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, staff, governmental officials, and the general public.
